Rufus Hound leaves Celebrity Juice, telling fans it's "the Keith Lemon show The comedian leaves the ITV2 show in the middle of the series, calling it "the Keith Lemon show" Rufus Hound leaves Celebrity Juice, telling fans it's "The Keith Lemon Show!"
He's been on Celebrity Juice with Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby for almost four years, but it looks like Rufus Hound has left the show - and it's all a bit mysterious why.
After fans started questioning why he was suddenly no longer on the ITV2 panel show, he's given a series of not-very-happy sounding answers.
"You'll have to ask them why", "No, no time soon" and "I'm done. I'm not on that show any more" were among Rufus's answers to fans, giving us the impression that he's not exactly pleased he's out of a job.
Celebrity Juice is hosted by Leigh Francis, as his character Keith Lemon, and recent comments by Rufus hint that there may be some kind of comedian diva-off behind the axing, with Rufus referring to the TV show as "the Keith Lemon show".
Referring to a return to the panel, he told Digital Spy: "Frankly that's unlikely. 'Celebrity Juice' is the Keith Lemon show isn't it, and so long as Keith's there most people are getting everything they want from it. So onwards and upwards for them."
Rufus, 33, also told his Twitter followers that he's "very busy with upcoming projects" - he's apparently rehearsing a play and has a lead role in a film.
Hmmm. We can't help but wonder why Rufus has left mid-series (he disappeared from screens in April, but the series ended on 3 May) but until he makes a statement (or, our preferred method of getting the truth: the late night Twitter rant) we'll never know ... come on Fearne Cotton, use that radio show for good not evil and tell us what's going on.
The show has been running since 2009, has made a massive seven series - that's 84 episodes. Who knew there were that many jokes about Holly Willoughby's boobs to be made.
