When I was 11 I sold all my Star Wars figures. At 16 I started buying them back from car boot sales. I don't play with them, I just put them on a shelf and look at them.

My Dad said: "Do your job, don't worry about what other people are doing."

What's the worst job you ever had?
McDonald's. I just hid in the loading bay.

Who is your favourite fictional character?
Spider-Man. I dressed up as him at my friend's son's birthday party. I felt like Elvis. Elvis that could spin webs.

What was it and why? Leigh T, as I was a big ET fan and would ride around with a model of him on my BMX.

Loads of things, although I try not to, it's a waste of energy.

Making props. I made The Bear in the first series of Bo' Selecta!.

White wine and crabsticks. Posh.

If you could change something about yourself, what would it be?
I'd have wings. I dream that I can fly.

If you could travel back in time, where would you go?
Childhood, it was brilliant.

Saturday night. Sunday hurts my head.

Who or what is the love of your life?
My wife Jill and my daughter Matilda, of course.
